Don't Pay Full Price For Designer Clothes!
By Hutchise
Why Pay Full Price?
For years I have been drawn to expensive clothes, shoes, handbags, etc. Just ask my friends...they'll agree :)
While I love to shop, I have always looked for things on sale because after all, why pay full price if you don't have to?!
So, this blog is dedicated to those who want to stay fashion forward. I am committed to showing you how to be runway ready on a budget!
Shop For Less...Expect The Best!
1. www.nordstromrack.com - this website is fantastic and so is the store! Towards the end of every season Nordstrom Rack is flooded with merchandise for men, women and children that has yet to sell. For those who are thinking "only the ugly stuff is left over", you're mistaken. For example, I skipped shopping online yesterday and headed to the Nordstrom Rack store near my home in Atlanta, GA. I found a pair of beautiful Coach patent leather heels on sale for a whopping $100 off! To my surprise, they fit like a glove. I purchased them knowing that I saved a ton of money on a great pair of shoes. Why pay full price when you don't have to?!
2. www.toryburchprivatesale.com - I have loved this designer since the moment I laid eyes on her 'Reva' Ballet Logo Flat. This particular shoe sells for between $195 to $225 depending upon the color. Her shoes, as well as her clothes and handbags are sure pleasing to the eye, but not the wallet! This is where the Tory Burch Outlet comes in handy. This outlet is stocked full of her most popular items, in a plethora of colors, sizes, styles, etc. Check here every few days, however, because items sell quickly. Why pay full price when you don't have to?!
3. www.nike.com- For all those interested in athletic gear, check out the Nike website. Every day on the lower half of the first page of their website, Nike features special deals! The deals include everything from shoes, to shorts, jackets and even pants! Before you head out and pay full price at Nordstrom, Dick's, Bloomingdales, etc. for athletic wear, browse the Nike website first. Why pay full price when you don't have to?!
4. Outlet Malls- Many times a regular mall packed with full price merchandise is located much closer to your home than an outlet mall. This is by design. Retailers are hoping you'll forgo the long car ride to the Outlet malls and settle for full price merchandise. However, if you're willing to make the trip, then savings will come your way! I have found that the same merchandise currently sold in regular retail establishments is available at an outlet mall for much less. We're not talking last season's clothes or items only sold in a few sizes. I'm talking about this season's hottest items in a wide array of styles and colors. So- grab some girlfriends and hit the road this weekend to your nearest outlet mall. Why pay full price when you don't have to?!
5. Coupons- We are all inundated with coupons these days and advertisements promising to save us money. While not all of the advertisements are worth our time, pick a few that pertain to you. For example, I never throw away Macy's coupons. This is because Macy's offers coupons, which may be used more than once, on top of sale prices, and there's even more savings offered if one make a purchase using his Macy's credit card. I've saved hundreds using the offers sent via USPS from Macy's.Why pay full price when you don't have to?!
The next time you're in need of a little retail therapy, make sure you don't overspend. You can wear top designer clothes, while keeping your wallet intact.
Happy Shopping :)
